about

If you prefer not to read at the moment - scan the QR Code in the Cover-art. Otherwise:

Some tracks are from cassette deck recordings then digitized within an archive-account created 2003, and "gone through" circa 2010. They were "goosed for presentation here" using -- Flat Monitor Headphones and Checked with Dripping-wet Bluetooth, Noise Cancelling Bass-weighted Headphones with 40mm, 50mm drivers. As little compression as possible was considered for a number of reasons - so if like "loud" HPs, feel free to turn it up, otherwise ~60%-70% yields a listening level.
- Have your EQ preference player handy and ride the fader!

There are many lost tracks. These are just a few pulled together to QR Code to the ]]]]]] ]]]]]] ]]]]]] ReverbNation [[[[[[ [[[[[[ [[[[[[ "broker page" - what we'll call it for now. This cover art has the QR Code embedded in it - one in each corner repeated.
- I tested it a whole... bunch... and linked immediately, no problems.

- So, how else to let folks know it's there, folks that may want to be made aware - here and not be intrusive?

There are 11 followers "here"; and 1 on the "fuzznuts..." account (me) - since account creation with 250ish listens "here" since published "overall" (then add in my listens now in all "this" on this account, (presently 350 ish :) ). Then, similar on the SoundCloud accounts of which there are two with the same ID (I did that too when ran out of upload space).

That's the challenge with unlinked, different account ID's on the Internet (not all just "dzd"), and all with demo, bounce, rough captured tracks like the fuzznuts... account.
- Fuzznuts... is an ID, much like here "quazimoto..." as the ID - with no "dzd" link. This was done for a number of reasons. At the time we both didn't "mix" account ID tracks with a universal, single ID like "dzdandcunfsd". (Again, if one didn't know they were there - how'd you find them?)

- Therefore again, *these tracks here wearing QR Code cover art of "Lost Tracks" linking to the ReverbNation broker page of online accounts. Now you know!

Possibly not known by many:
There are no less than 9 online accounts, web pages - under various alias'.
- "This" now makes them possible to navigated to, and collate to "Cody (dzd) dzdandcunfsd of Oklahoma".

ReverbNation is quite generous with it's free account - however, only allows just so much, very little - page formatting/decoration for navigation off of it's site (can't complain when it's free, and even when it's not :) )

So e.g., their body-text there (obscure like "here" on a black background) on that page for navigating to "other Internet pages" - most will see that unobtrusive list in the lower right of their browser on a PC Internet Browser page if know to look for it (like "here" to the Right-side of this page).

Account pages, when able, will be cross linked there as well. These online vendors text formatting of --> "see other" or --> "recommendations" headers are *subtle - so, read the page text if interested. If someone is "new" - do your best to learn their page layout within all their pop-up advertisements which allows it to be "free" LOL!

On the "ReverbNation Broker Page" there will be one or two "preview tracks" of a collection that then point to that origin page, album, archive list of tracks - under that account alias. For now they are to BandCamp since, like with this collection release - they will be more easily downloaded if one cares to.

Let me preface a little more as I like to do, and some like to read:
- Since assembling this is like, as I like to say - "eating an elephant"; it will be done one byte at a time, and in real time, LOL!

- No sense in waiting to be finished first - not how we or I ever did, do things. Why start now!

- So, content will be added, and modified - and as ReverbNation allows when makes site changes, upgrades (now owned by BandLab) - reformatted.

- This was a hit the ground running type project with a somewhat fatigued, well used, and slightly dog-eared laptop and cellphone with access challenges that made it like walking a minefield while wearing snow shoes. However, "this" is the gold at the bottom of that hole where that shovel was found long ago - now a diddley bow. (That's NOT a "guitar" as some call it, it has ONE-STRING :) it is a diddley bow.)
- You can still hear that cowboy howell, late at night, from within an old steel shed across the okie plains, bodies of water and rivers - as those in the area let him know they enjoyed.

====================================================

How a majority of the tracks were initially recorded - if care to know:
They were "captured" demos.

For those that may not know about how - many tracks later on got recorded - they were live, one take, one pass including dubs if then mixed in. (Anyone following me, heard that mantra repeated often in liner notes.)

However, with these - often there are no "stems". It is just one track, typically mp3, not wav. Part of a track could be saved on a looper pedal (played/saved live) and then dubbed the same way to a DAW (mic'd, or direct in, simultaneous - yes, maybe, no :) ).
- E.g., if there was an Oklahoma rain storm when recording, as I suggested after he apologised for the "noise" (no, not noise) - a mic was run close to the building panels and recorded into the track that way - vocal, instrument, ambient. Fun aye!?

Only in the past few years, starting circa 2020 (not counting old archive of captured bounce tracks) did Cody start taking tracks that lived on Looper Pedals, on paper and in his head and on old bounce tracks and more formally finish/advance them, or organizing them in one place.
- However, all that's to long to read here (already?) - so I won't attempt that. If one ever runs across a track where they may wonder why it's "this" way and not "that" way - well, listen to his "Confessions" track :) - insert social topic of the day, but he pointed it at the "music police" in that track :) LOL!! Yes, vocal levels could have been +dB'd, but it was plenty loud from where he was. Mic'd two track recording on Audacity was possible but required some pre-sets and rendering. He was not a big fan of audio engineering (so to speak, and ironic indeed!), and all that and not when attempting to capture an idea in the moment.

Again, these tracks "here" in this collection - were mixed to "flat", monitor quality *headphones and checked with "wet", noise cancelling, "colored as usual" (Bass heavy) *headphones - have your EQ ready if feel inclined. There are many track players with incredible EQ capability (I use SMPlayer on a Linux box) - one may really redo an entire track to their liking with many presets.

Anyway, keep in mind that Cody's tracks are ambient, and experimental; meaning - they "shift" within the track for a number of reasons - listen once as-is and then have your EQ :) ready LOL! You may even want to "ride a Hz" through a longer track.
- My attempt was to bring out what may not otherwise be heard, but not just for "that".
